Hi, I'm having a problem using the plugin with Divi and custom posts. I first wrote to Divi, thinking it was a Divi issue, and they told me to contact you.

Hi, I need help with a wpDiscuz plugin. I'm writing here on Divi support because reading the plugin forum, it seems other people haven't been able to use it, or rather, they haven't been able to use it 100% (attached Screen_00.png and Screen_05.png).

My problem is adding images to comments. If I use a normal post, the plugin works fine and imports photos (attached Screen_01.png). However, if I try to use it on Divi projects, I can only use comments and can't import photos (attached Screen_02.png).

I've tried changing the preferences (attached Screen_03.png and Screen_04.png) and disabling all plugins as indicated in the guide and as suggested in some discussions, but I can't resolve the issue.

Could you give me some suggestions? Thank you very much.

I also tried to test the plugin with a different post type (custom post type = job) created by the ACF plugin, and it works similarly. The comment form shows, but the attachment icon does not. ⬇️

 

So, I think you can contact the WPDiscuz plugin author and ask them about the attachment function on the custom post types. They might need to adjust something for the upload feature to work properly. Please let us know if they share something that we can adjust on our end as well.
