Do you have any CAPTCHA/ReCAPTCHA plugins installed on your website?

I was working on that but I'm not sure of the process to do that. is that the culprit?

i do not have any captcha/recaptcha plugins and as far as i know i have disabled any recaptcha security settings. but still can't post. please advise. thank you!

@lulu,

It seems the issue comes from the quill editor. One of the active plugins or theme has a conflict with it. 

You can either disable the rich editor or deactivate the plugins/theme one by one and check after each deactivation to find the problem maker.

The rich editor can be disabled using the "Load Rich Editor" option. You should set the value of the option "None". More info here: https://wpdiscuz.com/docs/wpdiscuz-7/plugin-settings/comment-form/#load-rich-editor
