[Solved] Can't follow instagram share setup instructions

Ok thanks.   I still cant create this though.   In theory I should be able to use the same "app" that I created for our Facebook and Instagram connection shouldn't I?   

We have FB already connected via a single app in our developer account.

When I go into the Products / Instagram Graph API I just get this msg:

If I go to the area that the message discusses I enter a complex screen with a long list of permissions and this is not discussed in the document you've written I believe.

All is correct, just scroll to the bottom of the page, then click Create New App.

There is no button though 🙁   There is nothing below the message I sent a screenshot of before.

Have you added Platform as mentioned in the doc (Step 1)?

Hi I've started all over with a brand new developer app and I face exactly the same problems I've already reported.

Can I request that you follow your own guide and try to see if it still makes sense?   My guess is that the FB developer platform has been changed enough that the guide now doesn't work.

I'm completely unable to follow it and get the instagram account setup as I never get to create the app and see the oauth urls etc.

I am still having fundamental problems following the guide for instagram setup.  You can see from this image below that it doesn't match in many ways the image in your own guide at step 3.

The latest problem I have is that there is no "Instagram Testers" area of the roles page.  This is visible in my screenshot.

Your guide is a year old now and it seems to me that it must simply be out of date and that Facebook likely changed many things. 

Can i please ask you to go through the process at your end as I'm sure there must be something wrong that isn't just at my end.

We've created the doc based on the of the official doc. 

Thank you we've gotten further.   We have created a new app and that offers us the "instagram basic display" product, which allowed us to follow all the instructions.

However, it still isn't working.   When trying to login as a user in the front-end interface of wpdiscuz, after being sent to instagram and logging in successfully we are returned to a white web page that just states:

{"error_type": "OAuthException", "code": 400, "error_message": "Insufficient developer role"}

I have the same problem.
From the tester's account, I can log in. And just with the other no, it's a mistake.
It turns out that users cannot write messages.
