Users who subscribe through the 'Notify me when there's a reply to this comment' feature are continuously being sent emails, and this function is interfering with the operation of a plugin that I had custom developed by a programmer.
Subscribers should not receive any emails at all due to the wpDiscuz plugin. How can I achieve this?

You should disable the subscription bar from the plugin settings.
The options are called:
Navigate to Dashboard > wpDiscuz > Forms admin page, just edit the current form and you'll see the options.
The "Display agreement checkbox in comment Subscription Bar" also should be disabled. You'll find it on the same page.
