Hi,

I'm having below versions

WP : 6.1.1

Elementor ( free ) : 3.11.2

wpDiscuz : 7.5.4

I did installation and setup as per documentation but I don't see comments section below blogs posts ?

I've checked YT videos as well but couldn't able to fix this issue.

Please help.

Thanks & Regards,

Vikram

Hi Vikram,

Please try to use the shortcode provided here: https://wpdiscuz.com/community/f-a-q/wpdiscuz-shortcode/

@asti Hi,

I'm using "Newsletter" plugin and got it working in below way

Added section > inner section > html element and added [newsletter]

But same case is not working with wpdiscuz

Added section > inner section > html element and added [wpdiscuz_comments]

Is  wpDiscuz shortcode is mandatory as the post you've shared is almost 5 years back. I didn't change functions.php for "Newsletter" plugin but still got it working.

Kindly clarify

Thanks & Regards,

Vikram

@asti https://wpdiscuz.com/docs/wpdiscuz-7/getting-started/missing-comment-form/, per this "..After the wpDiscuz installation and activation you should see wpDiscuz comment forms on website blog posts and pages immediately. It doesn’t require any configuration. .."

If you can point me to any documentation or YT video which informs how to use wpDiscuz + Elementor that can be of great help.

Thanks in advance.

@vikramvi,

add the code in the functions.pfp file as it's shwon in the video below: https://www.screencast.com/t/umKP969qwBjt

Then use the [wpdiscuz_comments] as a regular shortcode.

@asti I have the same issue,  and have left my comments in the "i have boxes around comments"  post.

In short,  I have added the shortcode,  and using it doesn't make comments appear in an elementor page,   unless I use "theme"  template,  and "contained" layout.

Just to check,  your

Then use the [wpdiscuz_comments] as a regular shortcode.

   seems as though it really wants me to use

[the name of the snippet that was created]  instead of using the shortcode [wpdiscuz_comments]  ????

But,  I'll go try your suggestion...  I think that will be an error tho.
