I am working on a staging site that I'm about to push-to-live for a client. She received several comments and ratings on the live site since we created the staging site. Will we lose those comments? How do we transfer them over if so?

Hello,

If you transfer the Database, you'll lose the comments/rating either from the live site or the staging one.

So you're saying there is no way to save comments? That's upsetting.

You should not import the wp_comment and wp_commentmeta tables from the staging website to the live site.
