Hi,

Β

SEO plugins are flagging this issue - links blocked by robots.txt

These links look like:

wp-login.php?redirect_to= https://www.mysite.com/news/post-name

When I turn off wpDiscuz, the issue goes away.

Hello,

The provided URL is simply a login link and does not require indexing by search engines.

That's true but blocking the link with robots.txt causes SEO problems. It doesn't seem like an issue to me but the SEO tools constantly flag it - so I'm thinking perhaps it's not good. Is there a way around this?

@dpka,

You can disable the "Show 'Login' link on comment form" option. It's located in the Dashboard > wpDiscuz > Settings > User Authorization and Profile Data admin page.

More info here: https://wpdiscuz.com/docs/wpdiscuz-7/plugin-settings/user-authorization-and-profile-data/#show-%E2%80%9Clogin%E2%80%9D-link-on-comment-form
