Hi, I integrated wp-discuz into my site last year and everything was working fine.

This year, we changed some of the design aesthetics but nothing of the functionality.

Now, wp-discuz doesnt work. I changed themes, and it works there. Plugins don't seem to be an issue.

Can you please check for example this page:

https://apart-festival.blog/artists-2021/gebauer-antonacci/4292/#comments

None of the buttons work and posting doesnt work

Thanks and best

@wegmannjs,

You have some JS errors on your website.

Please read this article, it should help you to solve the issue:  https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-fix-the-mixed-content-error-in-wordpress-step-by-step/

@wegmannjs,

Please deactivate the plugins/theme one by one and check after each deactivation to find a problem maker one.

Please keep the cache plugin (if you have) deactivated in the testing process.

@asti

I tried this now a second time, and deactivated all plugins except wpdiscuz (and jetpack and askimet anti spam, both of which cannot be deactivated).

As I wrote in my initial message - this didn't work. And it also didn't work now.

When I change the theme, however, from our custom theme to a standard free theme, wpdiscuz works again. But, I would like to make clear that WpDiscuz did work previously with our custom theme and nothing changed in the theme beyond the frontend css (colors).

Thank you for your continued help.

Ok @wegmannjs,

The same question is discussed here: https://wpdiscuz.com/community/postid/6620/

You should check and make sure the <?php wp_footer(); ?> function exists.

@wegmannjs,

We'd really appreciate and be thankful if you leave a good review on plugin page. This is the best way to say thank you to this project and support team.
