Users who are not logged in get the message “You Must Be Logged In To Comment” when trying to like a comment.

Many users have difficulty logging in, so don’t bother to like the comments.

Is there a way to disable the need for users to be logged in?

Hi @supertrooper,

You should enable the 'Allow Guests to Vote for Comments' option. You can find it in the Dashboard > wpDiscuz > Settings > Comment Thread Features admin page.

For further information, please visit: https://wpdiscuz.com/docs/wpdiscuz-7/plugin-settings/comment-thread-features/#voting-liking-buttons

Hi @asti

The option 'Allow Guests to Vote for Comments' was already enabled but guests still receive the message that they have to login to vote.

How do I resolve this issue?

Please advise.

@supertrooper,

If the option is enabled you should not see such an ssue.

We've checked the option on our test websites it works fine.

Please send the admin login details to info[at]gvectors.com email address. I'll ask the developers to check the issue for you.

Thank you @supertrooper,

Please see how the wpDiscuz looks now:

We see you have a lot of JS errors on your website.

This kind of issue is usually caused by either conflict with other plugins or the active theme.

Please deactivate the plugins/theme one by one and check after each deactivation to find the problem maker.

Keep the cache plugins deactivated during this testing process
