Hello! For our use-case, we are needing our admin to get email notifications for all comments and replies for all WPDiscuz instances on the website. I believe this is currently possible if the user manually selects that they want to subscribe to a thread, correct? If that's true, how can we auto-subscribe the admin(s) to every comment thread?
Thanks for your help!
The wpDiscuz only sends email notifications only if the user is subscribed using one of the ways described here: https://wpdiscuz.com/community/f-a-q/wpdiscuz-subscription/
The "Email me whenever Anyone posts a comment" WordPress (core) native option sends the notification to the website administrator email and the current post author.

@asti Thanks so much for the response!
That was my thinking too, that the core/native option in Wordpress "Email me whenever anyone posts a comment" would solve what we're going after here, but it doesn't look like that's happening.
We currently have this option selected:
But don't receive any notification beyond the initial comment that was posted on the page.
Could wpDiscuz be overriding any of this core functionality, perhaps?
Alternatively, is there a hook we can implement to auto-subscribe the site administrators to every comment + response published through wpDiscuz?
We really appreciate your help! Thanks again.
wpDiscuz sends notifications when users, including regular users and admins, subscribe. More info about wpDiscuz subscription types is described here: https://wpdiscuz.com/community/f-a-q/wpdiscuz-subscription/#post-14504
However, you might want to explore other plugins for admin subscription functionalities. Additionally, I've found this article, it might be helpful for you: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-manage-wordpress-comment-notification-emails/
