Hello,

Our readers at the site continue to enjoy using WPDiscuz. It works very well for my site.

I have a question about a potential privacy issue:

Is there a way to prevent the Author of a post from seeing the email address of the commenter?

Hi @mt58,

This email doesn't belong to wpDiscuz. All email notifications which are sent by the wpDiscuz plugin you can find and manage in the Dashboard > wpDiscuz > Settings > Subscription and User Following admin page.

The email notification you've mentioned is sent if the "Email me whenever > Anyone posts a comment" option is enabled. This is a native (core) WordPress option and it's located in the Dashboard > Settings > Discussions admin page. You should find a way to remove the email addresses outside of the wpDiscuz plugin.
