Hi there,

the email and website input field do not appear on my sites.

I activated the option within Wordpress itself but they do not show up.

What else do I have to do?

Best regards,

Nadja

Hi @asti,

my website is in building up phase and not online yet. So I guess a link will not work. Do I have to set my website live so you can help?

Best regards,

Nadja

@nadja-bayerlabasto-de,

Please note: if the name and email fields are visible only for guests (not logged in users). If you're checking as logged in users those won't be visible.

@asti

Where can I find the setting to set the name and email field also visible for logged in users? Within the Wordpress settings I can only find the option to

image

But no option to tell Wordpress for which kind of users they should be visible.

@nadja-bayerlabasto-de,

There is such an option neither in WordPress nor in wpDiscuz. If the users are logged those fields won't be visible for them.

@asti

ok, thanks. So I guess I can first test this when my website is live.

Thanks for your help.

I can add my experiences on this after setting my website live, if this might help anybody else.
