Hello Asti (wpDiscuz),

It's me again, I hope you are doing well.

My site is using wpDiscuz plugin, and when I open it with Internet Explorer 11 (IE11), wpDiscuz comment box does not appear.

I have four internet browsers on my computer, which are Chrome, IE11, Firefox, and Opera.

There is no issue with other browsers.

Note that I had already switched off all other plugins, only wpDiscuz plugin was enabled, cookies and caches were cleared. However, the comment box still did not appear with IE11.

Is there any compatibility issue on running wpDiscuz plugin under IE11?

Hi@bale,

Unfortunately, Internet Explorer does not support the Quill editor. If you want to use IE11 you should disable the editor in the plugin settings.

Hello @asti,

Although the dialogue box looks a bit ugly now, it works under IE11.

Message Box under IE11 after disable quill editor

I am quite surprised that IE11 is outdated if compared with Chrome, Firefox, and Opera.

Just a suggestion that this would be great if wpDiscuz can have a function to automatically turn off the Quill editor if the site is opened with IE11.
