We ran into a problem on our site with some users deleting replied-to comments and thus deleting all replies at the same time. I ended up disabling the edit feature for replied-to comments, but that leaves our members unable to fix typos. Is there a way to enable edits but disable deletions?

Hi @canewsforum,

wpDiscuz uses the same WordPress functions for deleting comments. Even if you disable the wpDiscuz you'll see that it'll work in the same.

Is there a way to enable edits but disable deletions?

We can't disable the comment deletion functions. These kinds of options don't comply GDPR.

In case you want to say thank you! 🙂
We'd really appreciate if you leave a good review on the plugin page.
This is the best way to say thank you to this project and the support team.
