There appears to be some sort of issue with "wpDiscuz" and the default search engine. When reading articles our search icon is no longer working. When disabling the wpDiscuz it works just fine, so that leads me to believe that there is some sort of contact.

You can check out ringsidenews.com and see for yourself. Search works on main page because we disabled wpDiscuz on the main page but when reading articles, nothing happens when you click on the search icon.

@ringsidenews,

Please delete Autoptimize plugin caches and check again.

@ringsidenews

Also, please make sure the "Force JavaScript in <head>" option is disabled.

The option is located in the Dashboard > Settings > Autoptimize > JS, CSS & HTML admin page.

Problem only appears to be on mobile view, which is very strange because my layout is responsive.

I was able to fix and keep cache by enabling this feature in Autoptimize:

Add try-catch wrapping?
