Hello,

I'm having trouble with WPDiscuz hiding the comment form for new posts. After I Publish the post I check the form and it appears as normal. But after sending out the email to my subscribers, I noticed sometimes the form doesn't appear.

The comment section seems to be there, but there's no comments displayed or comment fields to complete to post a new comment. Some users seem to be able to post comments, but when I checked the form I couldn't see it, and I've also receive emails from other users either not being able to comment, or posting the same comment multiple times because they say the first attempt didn't go through.

The only thing that sometimes works is clearing out the Cache of both WP Rocket and Kinsta's Cache (my host) to fix the issue.

What exclusions or changes should I make to get this working? I have the Bundled Pro version.

Thank you,

Matt

Could you please leave the URL where we can see the issue?

@asti Sure. This is a random post: https://shorturl.at/IDLpu

The problem is that after I clear the cache the comment form appears, so it's hard to link to a post where the issue is occurring. It also seems to occur for some users and not others.

I got another support email today describing the issue they experience, if it helps:

"It is both, actually. It both disappears and I get an error. I then retry and get the message that it is a duplicate comment.

I do not see my own comment when posted."

@sol

Could you please deactivate the cache plugin and check again?

@asti As right now there's no posts I can see experiencing this issue, I'm not sure what I'd be looking for if I disable the cache plugin. How could I confirm it's the cache plugin if there's no affected posts comments right now?

I suspect it probably is the wp rocket cache plugin as wp discuz seems to load in some form of iframe. How do I exclude wpdicuz from experiencing issues with wp rocket?

At this point, I might just cancel my WP Discuz subscription and remove it as I can't afford to delay fixing this issue and continue losing the trust of my readers with this plugin conflict, and I've noticed the pro support contact form doesn't even load on your site: https://paste.pics/T7XKT

How do I exclude wpdicuz from experiencing issues with wp rocket?

You should contact the WP Rocket plugin support regarding this question. Their team will better guide you on how to properly exclude specific plugins from WP Rocket’s settings.

At this point, I might just cancel my WP Discuz subscription and remove it as I can't afford to delay fixing this issue and continue losing the trust of my readers with this plugin conflict, and I've noticed the pro support contact form doesn't even load on your site: https://paste.pics/T7XKT

Please note: wpDiscuz is a free plugin and does not have a paid version. However, there are paid addons available, which are supported at the following link: https://gvectors.com/forum/wpdiscuz-official-addons/

The wpDiscuz core plugin is fully supported here and remains completely free.
