Hello,

User mentioning email contains html tags around the tagged username. Is there any way to remove them?

The issue is in your email reading client. It seems it only shows HTML format by default. There should be an option to enable HTML in that email client. Please see how it looks in our case:

The solution provided in this post should also be helpful for you. Even if the solution is for another plugin for the wpDiscuz plugin it also should work fine.
