I imagine that I could just hide the minus button with some CSS but I'm not sure if this will have odd repercussions and if the system in other places will reveal the fact to the user that they should be able to down vote something as well as up vote it.

Is implementing this simple in theory? Is it possible out of the box? And has anyone else done this that you know of ?

Hi @adamtheforumuser,

You can disable the "down vote button (dislike)" option. It's located in the Dashboard > wpDiscuz > Settings > Comment Thread Features admin page.
