I want to update the default place holder text, and ideally also remove the asterisk, replacing it with "(required)".

I couldn't see where to change this via the language settings, is it possible ?

Hi AdamTheForumUser,

If you want to change the "Name" field's value, please watch this small video instruction: https://www.screencast.com/t/nwhbvxPIR6vW

So you can add the required phrase just next to the main text. The "*" symbol, you can remove via custom JS code.
