Hello,
I have a situation where a lot of the pingbacks that I receive are being displayed on my comments sections and I don't want this to happen. How can I hide them from being displayed, but not disable them in the wp dashboard?

Please navigate to Dashboard > Settings > Discussion admin page and disable the "Allow link notifications from other blogs (pingbacks and trackbacks) on new post" option.

Yeah I saw that.
By unchecking those I'd be giving up all the pingbacks, but I just want to hide them from posts, not from the back end.
I disabled it entirely anyway, but this option would be nice.

You can filter and bulk remove those. Just navigate to the Dashboard > Comments admin page. Find the option shown on the screenshot, select, and remove the "Pings" comments.
