This does not seem to have been responded to but I have a similar issue in that I'd like to either disable image upload in comments or limit the number of times the Cron job runs - how can I get advice re this please?

I'd like to either disable image upload in comment
You can disable the feature using the according option located in the Dashboard > wpDiscuz > Settings > Comment Content and Media admin page. The option is called "Enable Media Uploading".
