When I initially tested the system while building my blog I encountered no issues. Now the first two posts have been published, and I have been contacted by people trying to post without any success, so I tested this again myself. As soon as I hit the submit button, all content in the input field vanishes. Also, no comments are registered in the backend as pending, either. @kaihitzer,

This is a plugin conflict for sure. Please deactivate the plugins one by one and check after each deactivation to find a problem maker. First of all, deactivate the SG Optimizer and security/antispam plugins.

Guess what: I was running the same plugin for reCaptcha - "Advanced noCaptcha & invisible Captcha"

Switched to reCaptcha Pro by BestWebSoft now and everything runs smoothly...
