I’ve just upgraded from wpDiscuz 5.3.6 to 7.6.28 and now getting an error when trying to complete the steps of the installation wizard.

I am selecting the comments style ‘Light’ and choosing comments layout ‘Layout #2’ and then clicking on the ‘Next Step’ button. It is at this stage that I get the error message:

“There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums. Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.”

The error logs are showing the following:

We don't find such an issue on our test websites.

Please create a development/staging copy of your website on a subdomain and send the admin login details to info[at]gvectors.com so we can check the issue.

You can use Duplicator to create that site.

Additionally, please ensure that the plugin editing feature is enabled to allow the developers to investigate the issue further.

Is it just the Wordpress admin login you require ?

The issue was fixed by our developers.

You had created a lot of unset forms. The developers deleted some of them and edited/saved the others (without making changes), and the issue is now resolved.
