I was provided this fix regarding my website's issue but have been advised that this has not been successful in resolving the issue, is there another fix?

We are using the recipe schema with your fix.
It works for everything apart from the average rating part. What else can be done to resolve the average rating issue?

This information is not enough. We can't see the issue in the Google search.
Please at least provide us a screenshot of the issue. Also, we need the example of the pages/posts where you see it works fine.

This recipe has 5 5* ratings - screenshot below but can be found scrolling to the bottom of the recipe URL above
However the recipe's ratings does not pull through to google search which I assume is why search console has flagged that they are missing average rating
This is a consistent problem for every recipe that has received a star rating for our website with all of the URLs above in the thread.
The ratings work for our product range
The ratings were working and the fix above has been applied but it has stopped working. If you could please advise a new fix to resolve the issue or I could schedule a meeting with us and our developers to discuss further?

There are missing the fields that don't have any relation to the wpDiscuz plugin.
You'll need to customize the code and add the code and adjust it as it's necessary in your case.
In other words the code is just an example, you should change it.
