@asti, Not only do I need such a rating format, all the media have long since switched to a new rating format in the form of emotional emoticons. Your rating with asterisks is yesterday, in this form the rating is not in demand. Individual improvement of the plugin is not the best solution, will the smiley rating work after updating the plugin version? If you make an addon with a new rating format, I and many other webmasters would definitely buy it.
We cannot provide lifetime support. However, we use the permanent hooks of WordPress and wpDiscuz to build custom functions and features. So this is an update-safe way, it should work fine for many years.
