I am getting ready to migrate from disqus to your system
I have synced the comments back into Wordpress but I am trying to understand how I link comments to a user in wordpress.
As you might know disqus anonymises the email eg K*******@gmail.com
The synced disqus comments, these are not linked to any user in Wordpress right?
Once we change to your system users will register on Wordpress, is there any way we link their disqus comments to their user account in Wordpress?

are the disqus comments imported as guest comments, is that the issue?
Looking at phpmyadmin the user id field is blank. I would need to assign a user ID to the guest comments to get them to link, does that sound right?
It'd be better if you link with their email addresses. wpDiscuz also has a "Use guest email to detect registered account" option. It detects real registered user data based on guest email.Â
