Naturally a logged in user can only up vote their own comments once but past that is there detection against frequency of votes/ip addresses or anything else that will assist users from giving themselves lots of extra up votes?

Hi AdamTheForumUser,

wpDiscuz logs your IP as well. It doesn’t matter you’re logged in or not, wpDiscuz detects you and knows that you’re the owner of this comment. The users are not allowed to vote for your comment even if are logged out and want to vote as a guest.

You can try it here: https://wpdiscuz.com/demo/
