Thinking of switching over to the plugin as I like the layout a lot; however, I'm wondering if it's possible to integrate Mailchimp with comments? Have a little button when a user posts that says "Yes, I would like to register to the newsletter!"

Would be great if this was done automatically.... but I'm willing to go in and manually add anyone who checked off that check box. Any way to do this?

The Mailchimp integration is in our to-do list. but we cannot provide any ETA when it'll be implimanted.
