Hi!

My site uses auth via phone number, so for registration I need only firstname, lastname and phone. When new user leave comment, it shows up as usename which was generated automatically by wordpress. I can change this option in user profile, but I need to do this everytime with every new user. Is there any way to set a default value for all users to show their firstname/lastname? Thanks!

@groove,

You should change the value of the "Display name publicly as" option. Navigate to Dashboard > Users admin page edit the user profile and change the value of the option.

Thanks for reply. Yes, I know about this option, but the problem is that it must be set individually for each user. The question was how to make this the default setting for all new users.
