Hello,

I'm having trouble getting the comment form to appear on the bottom of a page.  The form works fine on Posts, and I've double checked the settings so that it should work on any page (by default, as mentioned).

I've done everything recommended on https://wpdiscuz.com/docs/wpdiscuz-7/getting-started/missing-comment-form/ , including disabling all plugins except wpDiscuz, and then deleting wpDiscuz and re-adding it.

I also disabled WP native AJAX functions, and tried disabling Combine/Minify JS and CSS files... to see if that would work.

I'm not sure what else to try in order to get the form to show up on my page (it should be at the bottom of https://tuxboy.net/free-software/).

Thanks in advance for your help!

BTW, I have another website (I'm moving the content from this site to TuxBoy) where the comment form works on the page: https://ourlegacymatters.com/johns-corner/free-software/.

Hi @tuxboy

For further support, please leave some screenshots of each point mentioned in the doc: https://wpdiscuz.com/docs/wpdiscuz-7/getting-started/missing-comment-form/

Hello Asti,

Thanks for your reply.  I've attached a list of plugins and turning them all off to see if wpDiscuz would work on a page. Here's a list (Tip 1),

tb plugin list

the wpDiscuz comments form (Tip 2),

tb dashboard comments form

the WP discussions settings (Tip 3),

tb discussions settings

the WP discussions screen options (Tip 4),

tb discussions screen options

the "allow comments" checkbox on the Free Software page (also Tip 4),

tb free software page allow comments

and for Tip 5, I don't believe I have any custom post types (see list of plugins?). I don't think Formidable Forms counts as a post type, does it?

For Fix Tip 6, I'm using the Customizr theme (non-Pro version) at https://presscustomizr.com/ .

Also, here is an example of the wpDiscuz plugin working on one of my blog posts:

tb sample post with comments form

Thank you again for your help!

ok @tuxboy, thank you for clarification.

Could you please send the admin login details to info[at]gvectors.com email address? I'll ask the developers to check the issue for you.

@tuxboy,

We've found the reason for the issue. On your theme settings, the "Enable comments on pages" option was turned off, thus the comment form wasn't visible on the pages.
