Hi there,
New to your amazing plugin and it is working great.
One problem I have not been able to fix is disabling the editing of comments.

The button and menu are always visible and even guests users are able to edit comments.
I have set the timer value to "Do not allow" and disabled all the editing boxes in the Comment Moderation section.

What am I doing wrong?

In addition: disabling all other plugins did not help.
Everyone can edit all comments, logged in or not, admin or not.

Well I have not any caching plugins installed. And all the other functionality works straight away (menu options and functionality hidden etc).
Tested it from various ip addresses and devices.
I cannot clear the cache myself on the server.

That's pretty much it.

The issue comes from your website configuration. We check and see that it recognizes all users and guests as a super user, so the edit button is visible. If none of the plugins caused the issue you should contact your hosting support and let them know about the issue.
