On my homepage, I have added the shortcode [reviews-carousel]. Here though, every time I reply to a comment, it appears as an individual review. Can I disable admin replies from this area?

You should contact the review carousel plugin support and ask them if there is a way to exclude the admin reviews from the area. There also may be a way to hide it via CSS code.
