Instead of icons with a raised and lowered finger, I have plus and minus icons displayed.

Hi @zavistnik,

You should change the value of the "Voting Buttons Icon". The option is located in the Dashboard > wpDiscuz > Settings > Comment Thread Features admin page.

Don't forget to delete all kinds of caches (server-side, website, wpDiscuz, browser) once you change the value of the option.
