I have installed the plugin, everything works fine. However, the comment function does not appear for existing articles posted before the plugin was installed. What to do? thanks

Hi @almberger

Please check each point mentioned in this doc and leave some feedback for each one:  https://wpdiscuz.com/docs/wpdiscuz-7/getting-started/missing-comment-form/

Also make sure the "Automatically close comments on posts older than X days" option is not enabled. The option is located in the Dashboard > Settings > Discussions admin page.

@asti many thanks for your help! I'Ve checked all the parameters but it's unfortunately not working yet. The only thing that I've not tried is fixing tip 5 which shows to type in the function.php

I'm not experienced enough to do that. Is it possible to solve the topic with a custom CSS snippet?

Thank you!

@almberger,

Please note: the wpDiscuz cannot be loaded without the <?php comments_template() ?> WordPress template function, You should contact to your active theme support and ask them to add this function in template files if it doesn't exist. More info: https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/comments_template
