Comment Editing (Not Working)

Hi there,

We enabled comment editing (set for 15 minutes), but when a guest or registered user attempts to edit their comment within the allotted time, they keep getting the error: 

"Sorry, this comment can no longer be edited." -- as shown here.

What's going on? Kindly advise and provide a fix.

Visit this page, add a comment, and try to edit it (15-minute window).

Would be honored if you also register on our website for future reference, testing, and comments 🙂

The user doesn't have an administrator user role. Please change the role and let us know.

Note: I'm subscribed to this topic, yet I'm not receiving email updates from you. To get updates, I have to visit this forum every time. What am I doing wrong, or, how can I verify my subscription settings. There are a LOT of icons, links, and buttons to click 🙂

Update:

Concerning not receiving emails from this forum, we found the issue. Your emails are being sent to our Spam folder, yet we have never flagged your emails as Spam. You may want to look into this. We are using a Yahoo email account. It's my understanding Yahoo mail filters are too restrictive.

Please open a plugin editing feature, to allow the developers to check the issue.

PS: We noticed you attempted to submit three (3) test comments. They have been deleted since the "editing" clock for each comment has expired. The staging website will allow you to perform complete testing/editing of your plugin.

Update: We migrated your fix (our staging site) to our live site, but the Article Rating stars still appear broken. 

Can you advise what was the fix? (File or Code Change).

We'd like to re-check and re-implement your fix (back-end) until your plugin update is released.

This requires large customization in plugin codes. There is no simple solution we can provide you. 

You'll need to wait for the next update.
