Good Day!
Recently, we cleaned up and, in some instances, dropped (i.e., deleted) some of our database tables.
During our cleanup process, we inadvertently deleted all database tables containing the prefix "_wc". At first, we thought they belonged to WooCommerce (catch my drift?), but then realized they are generated by wpDiscuz.
Affected tables are:
- wc_avatars_cache
- wc_comments_subscription
- wc_feedback_forms
- wc_follow_users
- wc_phrases
- wc_users_rated
- wc_users_voted
Based on the above, and to help others, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND wpDiscuz change their database tables prefix from "_wc" to "_wpd"
Hopefully, you'll agree with our assessment and concern, and change your database table prefix at your next major plugin revision level.
Thank you!
@aerostar We'll take this under consideration. Thank you!
In case you want to say thank you! 🙂
We'd really appreciate if you leave a good review on the plugin page.
This is the best way to say thank you to this project and the support team.
How can we track the status of our request? Do you have a GitHub repository and/or a feature request link?
Thank you!
I'll update this topic once it is added.

Hi @asti,
Any updates? We are still concerned over the nomenclature used to define your plugin's database tables.
Thank you!
