I'm not a hardcore SEO expert, but as far as I know, Google gives less priority to comments than the post content.

Right now, when looking at the source code, there's a line:

<div id='comments' class='comments-area'>

I'm wondering whether Google recognizes that after that div goes comments content and gives less weight or not.

Is it possible to change the id or class somewhere in the wordpress or wpdiscuz php?

I can also see the following lines in the source code:

<link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="Mysitename &raquo; Comments Feed" href="https://www.mysite.com/comments/feed/" />

<link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="Mysitename &raquo; POST Comments Feed" href="https://www.mysite.com/post/feed/" />

Maybe Google is taking these two into consideration and gives less SEO weight to those?

Just trying to improve my website SEO.

Exceptionally would be to rank my comments the same as my content in Google's eyes.

Hi Raimis,

<div id='comments' class='comments-area'>

This line comes from the active theme, please contact the theme support and ask if it's possible or not.

I can also see the following lines in the source code:

Those line also doesn't have any relation to the wpDiscuz plugin. Those also may come from the active theme.
