Next to the Core Plugin I'm also using the User Notification Addon.
I want to have the Subscribe feature enabled on my website and currently whenever a user subscribed to posts a comment, I receive an email notification. However, as I've the User Notification Addon installed, my website should push all notifications through this system. Is there a way to keep the subscription feature enabled without getting email notifications? To clarify: only registered users can do any actions.
If you use the addon, you have the option to disable the subscription feature. Users will receive notifications once you enable the corresponding checkboxes in the settings page.
