Hello Support Team,

The comments box on my website disappeared after the upgrade to WPDiscuz7.  Can you please tell me how to re-enable this?  The comments box should appear for guests who are not logged-in.

Website is www.matthewdevaney.com

Sincerely,

Matthew Devaney

Hi @mdevaney,

We see some js errors on your website console. Somehow the js files are not loaded correctly. Please see the screenshot below:

js errors

Please navigate to Dashboard > wpDiscuz > General Settings tab, disable the following two options:

  • Combine JS and CSS Files to Optimize Page Loading Speed
  • Minify JS and CSS Files to Optimize Page Loading Speed

Then delete other plugin caches and press CTRL+F5(twice) on the frontend.

Deleting the Minify JS and CSS Files Optimization plugin solved the issue.  Thank you very much!
