We have a couple of staging sites where we test things before rolling out to main, the latest update of wpdiscuz includes a update that display nag messages which cant be dismissed and which actually interfere with the WP plugin update - it never finished the "disabling maintenance mode text"
I understand the license doesn't cover staging.subdomains (like many others companies allow) but this latest message is interfering
This is just in case if the users are using hacked version. If you don't activate the addon you'll see this message.
Once you activate the addons the message will disappear.

yeah but in our case its in staging (for testing), so we licence the main site.
sometimes we have 5 staging sites all NOT accessible publicly for development and testing and we need all the addons to remain active so its as close to the main as possible,
Can you atleast make it a better message its going to freak our stakeholders

And stop it messing with the core update that never finished the exit maintenance mode message
You can activate the addons on a staging website, after finishing the work, just click on the "Disconnect License" link in Dashboard > Plugins admin page before disabling and moving addons to a real domain. See the example below:
