Hi,

My WPDiscuz Plugin seems to have just auto updated itself. I certainly did nothing! Anyway a by product of the change seems to be that all photos from older comments have disappeared. I used to have the Media Uploader add-on. Not very good that the photos have been lost as photos are pretty inherent to the site. How do I get them back?

Hi @teocalli I doubt it very much that your photos are lost, they are probably just not showing for some reason. Do you use a Cache plugin to speed up your site?

No I'm not using a cache plugin (as far as I am aware).

There is this item at the top of my plugins. Does this relate to Discuz and should I run it?

"Please synchronize comment data for the best performance and fastest experience"

@teocalli yes, you should do that, I'm not sure it will fix the issue with the photos though.

I also ran "Fix Tables" in the tools but none of that has made any difference.

@teocalli just give the staff some time, I'm pretty sure they will sort it out for you, the photos are most definitely still there just WPdiscuz cannot show them for one reason or another.

The other thing I notice is that when I look at Comments in the Word Press dashboard all the photos have gone from there too.

Also, navigate to the Dashboard > wpDiscuz > Settings > Comment Content and Media admin page find and click on the [Regenerate attachments] button and check again.
