[Solved] Google reCaptcha is not working

Hello.

After passing the reCaptcha checkbox task, I press "Leave a comment" button and receive an error message, something like "Error: You have entered incorrect answer in the CAPTCHA field. Please try again." Captcha settings are correct, v2, "I'm not a robot" Checkbox.

URL is removed

An error is the same on the whole website.

What could be the reason?

Hi @dimmmm,

We see that the key you've entered is not correct.

Please try to generate some new key, add it to the according field and check again.

Also, please make sure there are no other ReCAPTCHA/CAPTCHA plugins.

@asti Please try again, I tried to set up new keys, probably you caught that moment when I was deleting old keys.

So, it's not working with new key as well.

No other ReCAPTCHA/CAPTCHA plugins are there.

@asti Thank you very much for your hint, it was a SPAM protection - activate CAPTCHA in the comments checkbox in the All In One WP Security plugin. Now it's working fine 🙂 👍 👍
