Hi,

Plugin is really great, however we're getting an issue where all administrators are receiving emails for every comment which we are subscribed to. Any ideas? We have unticked the notify of new comments in the Wordpress settings, but still get the same email twice.

@toffman,

We don't follow you well. Please try to explain in other words. Please attach the screenshot of the email as well.

@asti apologies, it wasn’t clear. Admins are receiving duplicate notifications, 2 emails for every comment with the same content.

@toffman,

We've just fixed the issue. Please update the addon to the latest version.

Also please note: all questions related to paid addons should be asked in the gVectors.com forum. Here we only support questions related to the free wpDiscuz plugin.

@asti Thanks, I've tested the update, the initial comment notification now doesn't duplicate, but further replies seem to send a notification in addition to the comment on that post as well?

@toffman,

It seems you've already subscribed to the current post. So you get a notification if someone posts a comment (the first email).

The second notification is being sent to the admins to notify that the new private comment is published.

@asti hi, it seems one is generated from core wordpress as our email customisations made in phrases > email settings aren't used in the first notification. It also sends the first comment to all administrators. Is there a way to avoid this, ideally we'd like just the post author to be notified?

It seems that this is the area in Private Comments to customise the initial email. But is it possible to also use tags in in the subject line [post-title] for example, in line with how replies work. And also limit the initial notification to only the author of the post rather than all administrators?

The mail is included in the phrases section. Please watch the video below: https://www.screencast.com/t/cehVRUSY

We're really sorry, but the addon doesn't have such a feature.
