From one day to the next the design of the comments has been altered. I tried clicking update on the comment form, but that didn't fix it. In addition, I see that several CSS classes have disappeared just like that, such as the wpd-view-replies view class or the submit comment button.

You can see it in any url, for example this post: Tangram para Imprimir

We see you've done a lot of style customizations. Those issues may come from your custom codes.

I see that several CSS classes have disappeared just like that, such as the wpd-view-replies view class or the submit comment button.

 Don't follow you well. Please rephrase your question.

Hi Asti,

These customisations have been in place for months, so it makes no sense that they have now disappeared.

What I mean is that from one day to the next, classes corresponding to functions such as "view replies" or the comment button itself have disappeared. If you try to look in the inspector for the "wpd-view-replies" class, which is responsible for displaying replies to comments, you will see that it is not there, it has disappeared. And the same goes for the comment button.

As I said, this css has been used for months, so it doesn't make sense that it's just gone. Something's happened, but I don't know the cause.

P.S.: Also, I'm trying to recover it with backups, but nothing works. Which data tables should I recover from previous backups? To make sure I'm not doing it incorrectly

@fueradelinea,

This depends on the value of the "Display only parent comments and view replies ∨ button" option. If it's enabled you'll see the ".wpd-view-replies" class, otherwise, it'll be missed.

Please watch this video to better understand what I mean: https://monosnap.com/file/7FL2Dso5jbCLnPrF1mbyfDs8Wltxtj

Thank you Asti,

Could you tell me what tables or files from WpDiscuz should be restored? Seeing your video I'm checking that WpDiscuz has been reseted with no reason because I haven't reseted it manually. In fact the "post comment" button is not visible either. So I'll try to restore a backup.

I've already tried to restore the options of a staging site where it is working properly but it is getting worse and worse.

Also, I've tried disabling the cache and optimisation plugins, but it doesn't improve.

@fueradelinea,

Please try to install the wpDiscuz plugin on a fresh website, you won't see the issues. All your problems come from the customizations you've done. In addition to CSS customizations, you can also make changes using hooks.

I do not recall making specific changes. A week ago everything was working fine, could you tell me which tables I should restore to recover a backup from a week ago with UpdraftPlus?

Thank you Asti

All settings are stored in the wp_options table.

Could you be more specific? There are the tables in the wp_options table. And none of them seem to be related to the problem I'm having:

wpdiscuz_form_content_type_rel
wpdiscuz_show_vote_regenerate_message
wpdiscuz_show_closed_regenerate_message
wpdiscuz_show_vote_data_regenerate_message
wpdiscuz_show_sync_commenters_message
wpdiscuz_wizard_completed
wpdiscuz_wizard_after_update
wpdiscuz-addon-note-dismissed
wpdiscuz_form_post_rel
wpdiscuz_show_rating_rebuild_message
gvt_product_secret_wpdiscuz-embeds
wpdiscuz_smiles
wpdiscuz_emoticons_version
wpdiscuz_ucm
wpdiscuz_ucm
_transient_timeout_wpdiscuz_posts_authors
_transient_wpdiscuz_posts_authors

I've also deleted the custom design, so you can see the problem is not there

@fueradelinea,

As I've already mentioned before all your problems come from the customizations you've done.

We can't help you with the issue you're currently facing. Again try the steps I've mentioned, you'll see that your issues don't have any relation to the main wpDiscuz plugin:

Please try to install the wpDiscuz plugin on a fresh website, you won't see the issues. All your problems come from the customizations you've done. In addition to CSS customizations, you can also make changes using hooks.

I have deactivated all the plugins (cache, assets controller, snippets... And it's still the same). I even cleaned the functions.php file of the theme. There is nothing more to modify. So definitely the problem is in the plugin.

Is there any option to reset or to solve this kind of situation?
