Hello there!

First off, fantastic plugin literally what I was looking for. Unfortunately, it does not play well with Youzify. I only have three plugins turned on: Buddypress, Youzify, and WPDiscuz. When I disable Youzify, everything works great as it should be. When I enable Youzify, it breaks it. I tried disabling anything that has to do with comments in Youzify, too. Is there like, a load order I could try (similar to skyrim) so that WPDiscuz takes priority in making it work?

Thank you for your help,

C

Sorry, I mean 4, I keep just disable Youzify like mentioned and leave those three turned on and they work fine.

Here are the steps to replicate along with screenshots. I am running my wordpress on Local so I haven't deployed it yet, but it will replicate with the following steps.

To replicate:

1) Have these plugins installed:
Buddypress: https://wordpress.org/plugins/buddypress/
Mediapress: https://wordpress.org/plugins/mediapress/
wpDiscuz: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpdiscuz/
Youzify https://wordpress.org/plugins/youzify/
BuddyX (Theme): https://wordpress.org/themes/buddyx/
WordPress 6.4.2 version

2) Activate ONLY Buddypress, Mediapress, wpDiscuz and the BuddyX theme; leaving Youzify DEACTIVATED.

3) Finish the required installation for wpDiscuz (the setup) and Mediapress (open and save options at least once, the defaults are fine)

4) Go to the website and create an album using Mediapress, and upload a photo to that album: www.yourwebsite.com/members/me/mediapress

5) Go to your new album and click on the image. A lightbox should appear, type in a comment, the comment should show up. Close the lightbox then click on "view" underneath the image and verify the comment is present there too on a single page. Add another comment to make sure it works there as well.

6) Activate Youzify, and go back to the image and see that the comments are not there anymore/do not work. Try adding another comment. Deactivate Youzify, and see that your new comment with Youzify deactivated shows up.

working comments
broken comments

*edit*

It does seem to be a Youzify issue (I did message them) but am also asking here since it would be great if they could work together!

After contacting Youzify, their awesome support was able to find that it was a CSS conflict, will leave this here in case someone else has a similar issue. Add custom css via the Youzify plugin not the Wordpress one.
