First of all thank you for your amazing plugin, API and documentation. It's a real pleasure to discover and work with this plugin.
I'm sorry I was looking for changing the content of the wpd-form-head div (mainly to print the nickname). I've tested many filter hooks, without success. I tried to find if that field is accessible in the admin settings too.

You should change the value of the "Display name publicly as" option. Navigate to Dashboard > Users admin page edit the user profile and change the value of the option.
Hi, yes I was afraid it was the good answer, it's a wordpress side responsability. I've seen that feature of public name later in my project... But yes, the solution is clear.
