Hello,

I have a form for a specific post type which uses a review plugin and wanted to use the comment rating stars to integrate their meta key which saves the rating to wp_review_user_reviews.

So I entered the meta key into the area for that and checked the replace old meta key box.

But it isn't working. When I look at the meta key, it's saving the rating to:

wpdiscuz_post_rating_wp_review_user_reviews

and not:

wp_review_user_reviews

Is there a way to get this working?

Thanks

Hi,

Before I contacted support, I did exactly that many times, checking each time, so I wasn't sure how doing the same thing again would help.

But I did try again just now. With the same result.

I am trying to insert the meta key of:

wp_review_user_reviews

I am doing so exactly as you show in the photo. That exact meta key in the meta key space under additional options with the "Replace old meta key" checked. I also tried it with an underscore before it, in case that's what you meant.

When I check the post meta for the post with ratings, I see:

wpdiscuz_post_rating_wp_review_user_reviews

which is saving a rating entered in the comment field and

wp_review_user_reviews, separately, saves the meta from the wp review plugin stars.

What I'm trying to achieve is that the stars in the WP Discuz comment field ALSO save to wp_review_user_reviews and NOT to wpdiscuz_post_rating_wp_review_user_reviews

It adds the wpdiscuz_post_rating_ before whatever meta key I insert, it seems. I do have the "replace old meta key" box checked.

Thanks

@cheryld

We don't find such an issue on our test websites. Could you please send the admin login details to info[at]gvectors.com email address? I'll ask the developers to check the issue for you.

If you decide to send the login details, please make sure the plugin editing feature is enabled.
