Last night, I performed a database optimization on my hosting using MySQL, just as I used to do in the past. Previously, this operation improved site performance, but this time, I encountered some issues.
After the optimization, I started receiving a "database connection" error message. After several troubleshooting steps and database checks, the site is now online and seems to be functioning at 100%. However, I'm experiencing a problem with comments:
WordPress Comments: When trying to use standard WordPress comments, I receive a critical error message.
WP Discuz: Comments do not get submitted. I can see the attempt to send the comment, but nothing is recorded.
Additionally, in the WordPress admin panel, the total number of comments is displayed, but no comments appear in the list.
Has anyone encountered similar issues? Any advice on how to resolve these problems would be greatly appreciated.
