1) I'm asking you for clarification.

If I would like to use the Pro Plan features of Font Awesome 6 (for example, custom icons), do I have to purchase Pro Plan myself, install Font Awesome on my site and turn off your Font Awesome library?

Will your plugin work with Font Awesome 6 if it is installed on my site?

2)Β Or can I somehow replace the desired Font Awesome icon with custom SVG icon?

Let's be frank.

Font Awesome includes non-relevant icons of some social networks. First of all, I mean social network brands from Russia.

Inside their system, they proposed a solution by replacing the icons with custom ones. But this is available only for Pro Plan subscribers.

It turns out that by building your Β«freeΒ» plugin on Font Awesome, you are forcing me as a user to spend $99 a year on the task of keeping just a few necessary icons up to date?!

Do you have anything to add to this thread today?
Or is the answer the same?

You were able to make two icons in svg:

Notif 10

So maybe you can build the whole plugin on svg?

Which will make icon customization a simple and free task

Maybe we'd better spend the money on your extensions?!

You didn't answer my question #1 in detail.Β I'm waiting for a detailed explanation on how your plugin works with Font Awesome 6.

I am writing again for your understanding: I myself plan to install the 6th version on my site and pay for the Pro-Plan. I'm only interested in the question: will your plugin work in the sixth version?

@yuri-vasilchenko,

This depends on where exactly you'd like to use those icons. In the case of the Comment Form Fields, you can disable the "Load Font Awesome css lib" option, then load the Font Awesome 6 on your website. Next step, you'll need to paste the class as the value of the "Field icon" field.Β

In the case of the global changing, you'll need to customize the template as it's mentioned here: https://wpdiscuz.com/docs/wpdiscuz-7/customization/custom-template-and-style/
