When a user posts a comment, it appears and says "awaiting moderation" as expected.
But about 20 seconds later, the user sees the comment simply disappear before his eyes. If he reloads the page, it appears again for another 20 seconds.
Disabling the site's cache has no effect on this either way. Disabling other plugins has no effect.
The comment is visible to moderators in the backend as normal, and after they approve it, it appears again to the user in the normal manner.
Any ideas?
I guess that's not necessary now, since I just discovered that if I turn off Live Updates in settings, the problem no longer exists.
So it appears that a Live Update event makes a comment awaiting approval disappear to the the user. (On my site, all comments have to be manually approved, so they always spend some time in the "awaiting approval" state.)
Is that a bug, or a feature?
